Banff, Alberta is located within Banff National Park and is home to wildlife including lynx, elk and grizzly bears. On our drive to Banff, were fortunate enough to see a wild grizzly from afar, whilst parked up on the side of the road.

 

Visiting Lake Louise was the pinnacle moment of our travels through Northern Canada. It’s easy to see why millions of visitors descend on Lake Louise each year. However, Lake Louise isn’t the only beautiful lake in Banff National Park… Grassi Lakes, Lake Minnewanka, Peyto Lake and Moraine Lake are all brimming with natural beauty. The mountains within Banff National Park are unparalleled with snow-capped peaks, glaciers, with walking trails and incredible scenery.
